Sales Account Executive

SmartAction is an R&D company, located in Los Angeles that has spent the last 5 years developing an Artificial Intelligence engine. We married this technology with Call automation and have a terrific new offering.

Unlike the IVR systems that you might be used to, which frequently exasperate and annoy callers, our product’s high intelligence conducts pleasant conversations in natural language without putting callers through “hell”.

We compete in a multi-billion dollar market populated by legacy systems that reached their peaks a long time ago. We have a huge opportunity to turn the market on its head with our unique, advanced technologies.

Job Description:

  • Experience selling business-to-business services, or telephony/telco products or services. Especially to the small mid size market (Desired but not required experience includes selling to contact or call centers)
  • Clear thinking, clear written and oral communication, superior telephonic presence, and smooth skills to cultivate customers and be trusted by them.
  • Excellent passion, persistence, integrity and ambition to succeed in sales.
  • Successful cold calling history and understanding how it ensures exceeding your goals
  • The position has large potential for advancement alongside our projected rapid growth.
  • Meticulous record-keeping skills. We document everything in salesforce.com.
  • A quick technical and business mind to deal with both technical and business people.
  • Desire to work in a start-up environment

Project Lead

We need a dedicated, hard working person with an excellent understanding of the English language and grammar to help us with our artificial intelligence software project.  

The entry level position involves using custom software tools to design, create, and test software solutions for interactive automated phone conversations.  It also involves sometimes painstaking review and analysis of large amounts of data, so patience, discipline, and speed are important.  Though not a programming job, some background in simple programming is preferred.

You will interact with our engineering and sales teams, as well as coordinate meetings and project details directly with clients. You will also be responsible for keeping track of project priorities and helping to insure timely completion of tasks, as well as daily reporting of project status.  The work requires an ability to focus on details, analyze scenarios, and come to practical conclusions.  

This is a fast moving software company where you will  learn many of your skills on the job and be working in a dynamic environment. Compensation is negotiable in a cash and stock combination.  Opportunity for advancement for motivated, disciplined candidates.
